The L and M in the serial numbers is for Long or Medium. Shorter riser = less leverage = higher draw weight. The first models came in 3 different lengths - the shortest was a hunting model. The H-24 H-20 H-16 refers to the riser length in inches. The riser looked just like the TD3 but without the cones. The TD3 adjustable tiller limbs turned out to be a bad idea so they revised the model to a TD2B without limb adjustments. TD2 limbs will fit in a TD riser, but TD limbs won't fit in a TD2 riser.
